MD Hunter / Athena SInclair

MD Hunter / Athena Sinclair is an activist and well known drag entertainer from right here in Little Rock Arkansas! He is the show director and cast member at Triniti and Discovery Nightclub but travels all over the US doing his craft. He was crowned Miss Gay Arkansas America in 2021 and  represented Arkansas at Miss Gay America in 2022. He was the first Miss Arkansas in 20 years  to make top 10 at nationals. Early this year he also competed for Miss Black America, making 2nd runner up!

When not on the stage you can catch him using his voice to fight for those in this community. From BLM to fighting against trans bans, he has always stepped up to fight for marginalized communities. He has stood up in federal courts, and Arkansas Legislative session to say enough is enough. Most recently he was one of the faces of the fight against SB43 ( the ban on drag) where he was able to spread a message of love and art around the whole world! He wants to remind everyone that your voice is the most important tool you have. Use it and never be afraid to stand up for what’s right!

Simon Garbett

Simon Garbett is a 17 year-old transgender activist. He is a senior at Joe T Robinson High School. He was born and raised in Little Rock, Arkansas, and is the second of five kids in his family. He has spent the last few years working to advocate for the lives of LGBTQIA+ youth in Arkansas. He has testified numerous times at legislative committee hearings in Arkansas as well as having traveled to Washington, D.C., to do advocacy work. He was recently invited to be a featured speaker at Queertonomy. He hopes to leverage his privilege as a kid who has loving and supportive parents and extended family to show the state and country what life SHOULD look like to come out as a trans kid. In addition to his activism, Simon is a key member of the Joe T Robinson high school band playing both French Horn and bass guitar. He plans to attend the University of Central Arkansas next fall majoring in social science with aspirations of becoming a civil rights attorney.
